# Invited as a cleaner

> You were added to somebody's workspace to do the cleans. This is the whole product for you — four screens and one button.

Source: https://docs.santara.ai/start/invited-cleaner/

Somebody who runs holiday rentals added you to their workspace. The rest of this manual is written
for them. **This page is written for you**, and it is short on purpose — you have been given a
small, deliberate part of the product, not a cut-down version of the owner's one.

## Getting in

1. You get an **email with an invitation link**. Open it on the phone or laptop you will actually
   use.
2. If you have never used Santara AI, you **create an account first** — your name, your email, a
password of at least 12 characters — then accept the invitation.
3. If you already have an account (perhaps you clean for two different owners), just sign in. The
same login works; the account menu lets you switch between the workspaces you belong to.

Your login belongs to you, not to the owner. If you stop working for them they remove your access
to *their* workspace, and your account carries on.

:::caution[Do not share a login]
If two people sign in as you, the record of who did which clean stops meaning anything — and that
record is what protects you when there is an argument about whether a room was done.

## What you will see

Not much, and that is correct:

| Screen | What it is |
| --- | --- |
| **Today** | Your day: the jobs you have, in the order they happen |
| **Tasks** | Every clean assigned to you, on the day it is due |
| **Bookings** | Enough about the stays in your buildings to know when a room frees up |
| **Settings** | Only your own — your name, language, timezone and password |

You will **not** see the owner's revenue, their prices, their guest conversations, their other
buildings, or the rest of their estate. That is not a setting somebody forgot to switch on: your
role is built from a named list of permissions, and those are not on it.

## Doing a job

Open **Tasks**. Each card is one clean and tells you:

- **Which room**, and **which building** it is in, with the address.
- **Whether it is a check-out clean or a prep** before an arrival.
- **The access notes** for that building — how to get in, where things are kept.
- **When it needs to be finished by**, driven by the next guest's arrival.

When the room is done, press **Mark complete**. You can attach a **photo** — do it. It settles
questions later without anybody having to take anybody's word.

If something is broken, do not just mention it in passing: **raise a ticket** from the job. That
puts it somewhere the owner will actually see it and can schedule a repair.

## Door codes and addresses

You are given the access details for **the buildings you work on** and nothing else. If a job is
missing its door code or its access notes, the owner has not filled them in — ask them, and point
them at [stay information](/setup/properties/#stay-information-wifi-door-codes-access).

Treat those details the way you would a key. They are the guest's security, not just the owner's.

## If you would rather not use the app at all

You do not have to. Ask the owner to send you the **cleaning cluster message** instead — the
product writes one WhatsApp message per group of properties, listing that group's jobs and nothing
else about their business. Many cleaning teams work entirely this way. See
[Cleaning clusters](/daily/tasks/#cleaning-clusters).

## On your phone

There is no app yet — it is being built for iOS and Android. In the meantime the website works in
a phone browser, and **Today** and **Tasks** are the two screens that hold up well on a small
screen. See [On your phone](/setup/mobile/).

## When something is wrong

- **A job you expected is not there** — cleans are created the night before a checkout, so
tomorrow's job may not exist yet this morning. If it is still missing by the evening, tell the
  owner.
- **You cannot open a screen** — that is your role, working as intended. If you genuinely need it,
the owner can change it; you cannot.
- **You cannot sign in** — after ten wrong passwords the account locks for fifteen minutes. Wait,
or use *Forgot your password?*. See [Your account and security](/setup/account/).
