Connect Emerging Travel Group
Email Emerging Travel to connect Channex, enter your Hotel ID, choose the tax setting, and map rooms.
How to connect Emerging Travel Group to Santara AI. The setup inside Santara AI is the same for every channel (Connect another channel); this page covers what is specific to Emerging Travel Group.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- A property with at least one room in Santara AI.
- No other channel manager or iCal link on the property in Emerging Travel Group — two systems updating one calendar overwrite each other.
1. Switch the connection on in Emerging Travel Group
Section titled “1. Switch the connection on in Emerging Travel Group”Emerging Travel Group has to allow the connection first. Channex is Santara AI’s connectivity partner — it is the name Emerging Travel Group knows us by.
- Email Emerging Travel support to request the Channex connection.
- Note your Emerging Travel Hotel ID.
2. Connect in Santara AI
Section titled “2. Connect in Santara AI”- Open Settings → Channels → Add a channel, find Emerging Travel Group, and press Connect.
- Pick the property it is for.
- Fill in the fields below, then press Test connection.
- When the test passes, press Connect and continue.

| Send Property Notification | Optional. Tick it and a Property Email field appears — that address gets an email for every new booking. |
| Booking Amount | With Commission or Without Commission — how booking totals arrive. |
If Test connection fails, check the ID, then ask Emerging Travel Group support to confirm the property is connected to Channex.
3. Map rooms and rates
Section titled “3. Map rooms and rates”- Usually Multi-occupancy — one price per guest count. If you only have one price for the room, map that same rate to every guest count.
Map every room and rate Emerging Travel Group shows. One left unmapped gets no updates, and Emerging Travel Group keeps selling it on its old availability.
4. Import and go live
Section titled “4. Import and go live”Santara AI checks what is mapped, turns the channel on and brings across the stays Emerging Travel Group already has. From then on, rates, availability and restrictions sync from Santara AI — see Going live.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Answer Emerging Travel Group guests in Emerging Travel Group’s own inbox — guest messages from Emerging Travel Group do not come into Santara AI.
